Do Crunches Build Abs - Continued

Okay, so you already know that crunches or not the best exercise in the world for getting it perfect sixpack or 8 pack of abdominal muscles. However, using the two other modifications previously discussed in my other article, crunches can actually be beneficial to building their abdominal structure.

The third and most important thing that you can do to make them build quicker and more effective than ever before is to add some variation in your movement from the floor and to the crunch position.

The easiest way to do this is to move from side to side. Using your hands behind your head and pulling gently with your right elbow go to your left knee. Then, do the same with your left elbow and go to the right. Make sure you hold your position for at least a second and slowly come back down to the flat position before doing it again.

What you don't want to look like is some dead chicken flapping up and down on the ground. You want to look like you are in control. You want to feel your muscles as you move up and down to the different locations. It is only with this type of movement that you can trick your muscles and to building much more quickly and easily.

One Final Tip

Don't just go left to right. Go to your left knee two or three times, and then go to your write five or six. Change up your rhythm. Go faster on one side and then slower on the other. Doing this will force your muscles to compensate for the changes and it is this compensation but causes them to tear and rebuild into stronger tissue creating the sixpack or eight pack that you have always dreamed of.
